Tour Plan
Day 1: Arrival Upon landing at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport
You will be picked up from your hotel in Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park. Enjoy a game drive in the park, known for its large herds of elephants and striking baobab trees. After your game drive, you will be taken to your lodge or camp for the evening.
Day 2: Moshi/Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park
Start your day with breakfast at the hotel before departing for Lake Manyara National Park. The drive takes you through picturesque landscapes, arriving at the park known for its lush greenery, vibrant birdlife, tree-climbing lions, hippos, and baboons. After exploring the park, enjoy dinner and spend the night atop the Great Rift Valley with stunning views overlooking Lake Manyara.
Camping: Overnight stay at a campsite near Lake Manyara, nestled among serene natural surroundings.
Day 3: Lake Manyara to Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, depart from Lake Manyara and head to the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater. Spend the day exploring this wildlife haven, with a high chance of spotting the Big Five: lion, rhino, elephant, buffalo, and leopard, all within the crater’s unique ecosystem. Enjoy a picnic lunch at the crater floor while surrounded by breathtaking views and abundant wildlife.
End the day with dinner and an overnight stay on the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater, offering incredible views of the crater floor. Note: Simba Camp is the main campsite in this area, though its facilities can be basic. For added comfort, we recommend booking a lodge for your overnight stay.
